Third Meeting Question

Write a reflection about one of your significant classroom experiences during the past few days at MCL. This could be something positive or negative. Use the outline below:- the date/time of experience- details of the story/experience (people, location, event/situation, reactions of the people around.- your feelings and reactions during this experience- your learning/realization from the experience .

July 11, 2007 around 7:00-8:30at
room 200
During our English class (Journal in English Results)

There were no reactions from the people around because this is about our journal in English. While getting the paper from you, I saw your reaction and it made me nervous and I rapidly open the paper and saw that my work is full of pink line and there’s a note in the right side of it “Your work is irrelevant to the topic.” When I’ve read it I was confused because as far as I can remember you just said that write anything about your future expectations, that’s why I wrote everything that I expect in the future. But it’s okay now I’ve learned a new lesson that I must always confirm what I must do before doing anything.

Self Evaluation

How was your first week of stay at MCL? How do you feel about your teachers and schoolmates? How do you find your courses? what sort of adjustment you still have to meet in terms of your academics, emotions, and scoial invlovement?

My first week at MCL was fine because all my classmates and teachers are friendly and they’re kind to me. Honestly, I haven’t had a sleep the night before the first day of school. I don’t know if I’m only nervous of what’s going to happen on that day or I’m just thinking of a lot about what’s new in college life and how can I move on from my high school life. I’m glad that my professors and classmates are kind. I only don’t know about my schoolmates. But for sure some of them are not kind unlike my classmates they’re all understanding person. Regarding with my courses, I believe that they’re only reviews from my high school subjects. But still, I’m having a hard time on understanding trigonometry. But I will do my best for me to understand well trigonometry. About the adjustments with my social involvement, I think I need to be more confident to approach different kinds of people, and also I need communicate with them with the right manner. With the academics I believe that there will be a large change because the grading system of high school to college is very different.

How would you like your first year in college be? What specifically you have to do to achieve this desires?

I’d like my first year in college to be successful, like not to have a failing grade for me to graduate in an exact time, because it’s not good to waste time. In order for me to achieve these desires, I need to do my best and I must always listen to my professors and I need to be more serious on studying. Another important thing is that, I must not be lazy on doing my assignments or going to school in order for me to achieve my desires…

After you have Processed your First Few Experiences at MCL, In What Way This Will Achieve Successful Adjustments?

Like I've said on the first question, I can achieve successful adjustments by having the right manner on how to communicate with other people. with this i can easily get along with my new classmates, not only with my classmates but also with my professors.

How Does Values Education Work to your Advantage

For me Values Education is very Important because, this will let me know what are the right things to do and it can help me with my Daily Tasks, like having the right manner on how to communicate with other people. Not only with that It can also be my guide through my Spiritual Journey...
